Hey everyone! So I have been getting a lot of questions lately regarding the Essie nail art competition I am a part of so I figured I would type up a quick blog post with some FAQ about the contest. So here goes!
As many of you already know I made top 6 in the contest which is amazing! When I originally entered I didn't think I'd make Top 10, let alone Top 6.
for this round of the competition we were sent the Summer 2016 Collection (which hasn't even been released to the public yet... honestly, what is my life *tears*) & we were told to create a summer look using the polishes from the collection. I am super happy with the look I decided to submit & I have been getting a ton of positive feedback! So thank you all!
I'm just trying to keep it brief, so here are the questions I have been getting!
FAQ
What does the winner receive?
The overall winner will get a $20,000 partnership with Essie for a year. This includes creating nail art looks & social media content for new releases, special occasions, etc. The winner also gets to go backstage & manicure at New York Fashion Week with Essie.
Where am I in the competition now?
As I stated earlier, I made Top 6. This round IS a voting round, so I am currently relying on all of my loved ones to get me votes & move me to Top 3. I find out May 2nd if I will be moving on in the competition & voting ends April 29th.
What happens if I make Top 3?
I will get an all expense paid trip to NYC to shoot a final nail art look at the Youtube offices. The 3 finalists will work with professionals in shooting a final tutorial style submission. The over-all winner will be announced sometime in the beginning of June.

Jenny Fox – founder and vlogger behind Jenny Claire Fox, a top nail art and beauty YouTube channel
Carolyn Holba – General Manager, essie worldwide

What prizes have I already pocketed in the competition?
Essie sent me one of their best-selling shades "Bikini so Teeny", their new Gel Setter Top Coat, the entire Spring 2016 collection, the Summer 2016 collection, & 90 other Essie polishes.
Along with all of that I have gotten a lot more traffic to my Youtube channel which is HUGE to me.
Some of my nail artist idols have followed me on Instagram *more tears*
I have been contacted by several nail companies that want to send me free product to try out, review, & feature (if I approve of the product)
How do I vote?
I have been posting daily reminders to all of my social media along with a link to vote. Simply follow the link, click "VOTE" under my submission, & enter your email address (if it's the first time you're voting you'll have to enter a name as well, but after the initial vote, email is all that's entered) Essie will not send you spam mail, the only reason email addresses are included is so that Essie can contact you if you are a winner of 100 ESSIE POLISHES! You are entered every single time you vote. You may vote once daily, per email address.
