Monochromatic Nail Tutorial

I love the whole white nail trend that is happening right now, but if you are getting tired of bare white nails this is a cute way to spice up!
This look is great because the black and white polishes will look great with any color. I couldn't stop staring at my nails while I wore this mani!

Easy Everyday Nail Art

This is one of my favorite manicures! It's really easy and every time it turns out just a bit different. The color combo possibilities are endless and because of that it works for like... every season and holiday!

Watch the video below for complete instructions! If you have any questions leave me a comment down below!

Here are some photos from this video and also quick S/O to Karli because the other photos are of the nails I did on her!

DIY Pineapple Room Decor

How freakin' cute is this pineapple lampshade/room decor? Ya know what? Most people are probably like "OMG summer is almost over this is a SUMMER room decoration" well, I think that because summer is almost over this pineapple is even MORE necessary for our bedrooms or dorm rooms. Who doesn't want to have a vibrantly colored decoration in their room to look at? This pineapple will remind me of summer every single time I look at it and that is most definitely not a bad thing!

So if you need to spice up your space then give this purty pineapple DIY a shot! It's way easy to do guys, I'm serious.

PS: I decided to make this tutorial into a video on youtube because it would have been way harder to understand if it was just a bunch of pictures and instructions! I have started a YouTube channel and I will post nail art, diys, and probably a bunch of other things onto it so subscribe if you want to be notified of when I post new videos! Thanks guys (:

DIY Flash Tattoos

IF you have been on the internet at any point this summer, I am sure you have seen someone flaunting these little gems. Flash tattoos are simply metallic temporary tattoos, how freakin' cute are they? They are actually pretty expensive... $25 for a couple of sheets. Personally I think that is just absurd for something temporary... doesn't Flash Tattoo realize some of us are trying to get through college???
I created a way to DIY them for under $10!

WAY #1:

  • Pull out a page protector and the metallic marker or eyeliner of your choosing.

  • Draw your desired tattoo onto the page protector. (Go over the design a few times to make sure it is still wet by the time you need to apply it!)

  • Once you are content with your design, place the side you drew on right where you want it to show up on your skin.

  • Then apply some pressure and hold there for several seconds.

  • Once you lift off the page protector the design will be transferred to your skin!

  • Using Liquid Bandage trace over the top of your design to make it waterproof. If you don't want the design to last for several days spray use hairspray instead of liquid bandage for a more temporary tattoo.

WAY #2:

  • If you are doing a very big design or an easy to draw design, you can always just draw right onto your skin and then apply the liquid bandage!

Here are some photos of the designs I tried (I went kind of crazy haha):

Well, I hope you love these as much as I do! Let me know if you try them out.

UPDATE!

I know I have been slacking on my blog lately, but now that I have (somewhat) of a routine figured out I plan to post more often! My most favorite camera ever also decided to stop working so I had to get a new camera before I could post some more.

Don't fret though! I got a camera today and I am pumped to use it to post some tutorials and also a super awesome DIY within the next few days. I am so excited for this next post. It is something I have been seeing seriously E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E. Honestly it is something expensive, trendy, but expensive... so being a poor college kid club member I had no choice, but to whip up a super inexpensive DIY.  If you are a poor college student club member as well, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for my next post!

OH! Here is a hint about the DIY ;)

Do you know what it is???
